"#MakeHalloweenScaryAgain" by Mark Allan Gunnells - Dustin is a librarian who hopes to become a successful horror writer when he comes up with #MakeHalloweenScaryAgain and a serial killer dressed as a scarecrow adopts the hashtag and becomes known as the Hashtag Killer. The killer leaves flyers around the small town before Halloween night warning that he will choose a house which has no decorations and kill everyone inside. Dustin is questioned by the police and the townsfolk begin to suspect him so he takes in all his decorations to prove he isn't the killer. Shawn is a reporter who tells Dustin that he'll stay with him on Halloween to catch the killer if he shows up. The killer does show up and shoots Dustin but is never identified, although it is suggested the killer might have been Shawn, who desires the notoriety the story will bring.
"The Rage of Achilles" by Kevin Lucia - Peter's autistic son is struck by a man named Judd who had been driving under the influence and is placed into a vegetative state. The boy is still in mental contact with Peter demanding vengeance upon Judd. On Halloween night Peter drives to the lot where Judd has his trailer and shoots both Judd and himself. This happened ten Halloweens ago. Father Ward hears confession from Peter's ghost and drives to the lot to attempt to prevent the killing but finding only weeds. He learns from the shopkeeper who sold the boy figurines that Peter's ghost attempts to confess every Halloween.
"Demon Air" by John R. Little - A woman on a flight is tormented by demons who possess the crew on Halloween night.
